Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Belgium: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, Belgium's top navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform exhibited varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 12.3K in mid-August. However, there was a noticeable decline towards the end of September, with downloads dropping to approximately 9.1K. Meanwhile, its weekly active users fluctuated, starting at 1.58M in early July and reaching a high of 1.69M in late August before settling at 1.62M by the end of September.

Google Maps showed consistent weekly download numbers, moving from 10K in early July to a peak of 11.5K in late September. Despite steady downloads, active users experienced a slight decline from 1.82M at the start of the quarter to 1.78M by the end.

Polarsteps - Travel Tracker experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, notably reaching 8.9K in early September. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 30.1K in early July and peaking at 42.8K in early September before decreasing to 34.7K by the end of the quarter.

RouteYou - walking and cycling had a varied performance with weekly downloads peaking at 6.3K in mid-August. Revenue saw a gradual increase, peaking at $383 in late August. This app's download numbers decreased significantly towards the end of the quarter, dropping to 1.8K.

Google Earth maintained relatively stable weekly downloads throughout the quarter, averaging around 2.2K. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 16.9K and peaking at 17.6K in early September before closing the quarter at 16.8K.
